Share on Facebook Share on Twitter When living out your dream goes horribly wrong. Most car fans who can’t afford to buy their dream car have probably at least thought about the possibility of renting a supercar for a day. The guy who rented this Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Spyder Performante in Las Vegas also had that same thought, but he likely never imagined that living out his fantasy would end upside down in a roadside desert ditch. Seeing as how this was probably the driver’s first time piloting a supercar, it’s safe to assume he wasn’t overly familiar with the car’s performance capability.

The Gallardo Performante’s 5.2L V10 engine is capable of producing 562 hp and hitting 60 mph in a mere 3.9 seconds. The driver of the wrecked rented Lambo pictured here reportedly informed police that he was driving at around 120 mph when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed, landing in a ditch near Red Rock Canyon just outside of Las Vegas. Although the convertible Gallardo landed upside down and the driver was thrown from the vehicle, he miraculously walked away from the incident completely unscathed. The Gallardo was clearly not so lucky.
